Need a reason to get outside on your bike? Join us this year for the MS Bike Ride from Billings to Red Lodge! The MS Bike Ride is a two day, fully supported ride. For those of you who've never done a "supported" bike ride, this means that all you have to do is pedal, and pretty much everything else is covered! No need to carry your overnight bag....the wonderful volunteers cart up everyone's necessities in a truck and drop your bag off at your hotel. Food and water are provided at numerous rest stops in both directions. Once in Red-Lodge, everyone gathers for a banquet to celebrate top fundraisers and share inspirational stories...
Registration is $30.00 for each rider, and each person who participates in the MS Bike is required to raise at least $300 for the MS Society. This helps to cover the cost of the supported ride, and is well worth the effort for such a worthy cause. Each APEX Team member will receive a custom cycling jersey, so we can ride together as a team. Our plan is to ride as one group...absolutely no-one will be left behind! This is not a race. It is meant to be fun, and we intend to make it fun! We will have weekend group rides on August 14th and August 21st leading up to the ride to help build mileage and teach those who are not accustomed to group riding. There are a lot of rest stops along the way, but it is a significant distance, and it will be much more fun if you are prepared!
Can't ride this year? If you can't ride, we ask that you donate! Any little bit helps and is 100% tax deductible. To donate, click on the MS Bike Logo on the left and then click on "donate to a participant". You can search by a participant's name (for example: Renee Sobering or Darryl Sobering) or by a team name (APEX). Once you select a participant, you can click on "Donate to (participant's name)" and make your donation. Quick and easy!! Thank you in advance for your generosity!
To join team APEX, click on the Bike MS logo on the left and click on "join a team". In the team name search box, type in APEX and then click "Search for a Team". The search results will appear at the bottom of the page...simply click "join" and follow the instructions.
