As you can tell....I love pizza! Here are some of the specific ingredients I use to make my healthy pizzas.....
Don Poncho's Low Carb Low Fat Wraps
I use these all the time! Simply spread your sauce on and bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes at 425 degrees. Make sure to let stand once you take out of the oven. The tortillas are very thin and if you don't let the pizza cool a bit, the tortilla will be very floppy.
Each tortilla is only 70 calories (1 grain serving) and is high in fiber and protein!
Mamma Mary's Whole Wheat Pizza Crusts
2-12 inch pre-made, whole wheat pizza crusts. Add sauce and toppings cook at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes for a crisp crust, or simply sit the pizza under the broiler for 2 minutes to melt the cheese and you're done! 1/8th of a pizza crust = 1 grain serving.
NOTE: Thus far I have only found these at Wal Mart
Classico Sundried Tomato Pesto
Mix this with some regular tomato sauce to make a quick and easy, not to mention tasty, pizza sauce. Get a serving of oils, since the pesto contains olive oil.
